A smooth, sweet Grand Cru characterized by its wood, humus and cinnamon notes
This tea comes to us from Phoenix Mountain in Yunnan province. The leaves were harvested 1,700metres above sea level in spring 2019. This is a highly delicate grade of Pu Erh Shu known as GongTing.
Pu Erh Shu is a type of tea that undergoes accelerated, assisted fermentation. The dried leaves arespread out in a thick layer, sprinkled with water, then covered with canvas in a warm, humid room.
This Grand Cru stands out thanks to its smooth texture and damp wood, humus and cinnamon noteswhich are subtly enhanced with smoked hints.
